As we entered an unprecedented time in international travel it is important that you understand what your risk tolerance is for planning and executing your travel goals. When, where and how you next travel is very much a personal choice and as the world climbs slowly out of the pandemic enforced shutdowns your decisions are coloured in part by how you feel about all of the changes that have occurred in the past year.
Last week we defined risk tolerance as “the optimal level of risk that someone will take in the pursuit of a specific goal”. In order to understand what level of risk, or chance of loss, you are willing to take try out Travel Risk Tolerance Quiz.

For each 1. give yourself 1 point, two for 2., three for 3. and four points for every 4. answer.
If you scored between 10 and 19 points you have very low tolerance for risky travel. You would be wise, and most comfortable staying home for a while longer.
If you scored between 20 and 29 you do not have the lowest tolerance but there needs to be some major concessions before you will feel comfortable traveling again. Perhaps find destinations that have less risk associated with them.
If you scored between 30 and 39 you are definitely comfortable with some risk and right now are more concerned with finding a way to experience a safe journey again.
If you scored 40 points you have the highest risk tolerance and will be the first online to book your next big adventure and damn the consequences.
